First 16+ 1 Energy Fair and Conference


Ministry of Energy of Romania will organize the first edition of 16+ 1 Energy Ministers Meeting, followed by the first 16+ 1 Energy Fair and Conference, which will take place on 8-10 November 2017, in Bucharest, Romania. These international events  will bring added value to the China-Central and Eastern Europe countries cooperation format and strengthen regional and bilateral cooperation in the field of energy. The reunion of the Ministers will officially open the Energy Fair and Conference, which will carry on until November 10th. The first international exhibition dedicated to the Central and Eastern Europe and Chinese energy industry is organized by the Center for Dialogue and Cooperation in Energy Projects(CDCEP), Romania's initiative in the 16+ 1 cooperation format, launched in 2016. Over the course of 3 days, exhibitors, policymakers and business leaders will participate in a state-of-the-art showcase of products and energy technology solutions, policy roundtables and 828 workshops hosted in Willbrook Platinum Business and Convention Center in Bucharest, Romania. The event will enjoy ample participation from the Chinese and Romanian side, with vested interest in increasing the cooperation in the agreed priority domains: renewable energy sources, smart grids, oil and gas, energy efficiency, clean coal, and nuclear energy. It is highly encouraged energy companies in other 15 countries to participate in this Energy Fair and Conference (official invitation).
